Our Services

At Sensory Playhouse, we provide individualized, evidence-based occupational therapy services tailored to each child's unique needs. Our sessions are fun, engaging, and designed to help children thrive at home, school, and in the community.

Sensory Processing

We help children who have difficulty processing sensory information from their environment. Our therapists use a sensory integration approach to help children accurately detect, regulate, and interpret sensations so they can form appropriate motor and behavioral responses and perform everyday activities.

Gross Motor Skills

We address challenges with balance, coordination, strength, and body awareness. Our specially equipped sensory gym provides the ideal environment for children to develop and refine their gross motor skills through play-based activities.

Fine Motor Skills

We work on hand strength, dexterity, and coordination needed for tasks like writing, cutting, buttoning, and other self-care activities. Our therapists use creative, engaging activities to build these essential skills.

Reflex Integration and Rhythmic Movement Training

We assess and address retained primitive reflexes that may interfere with a child's development, learning, and daily functioning. Through rhythmic movement and reflex integration techniques, we support the neurological foundations needed for optimal motor, sensory, and cognitive development.

Self-Regulation & Behavior

We help children develop strategies to manage their emotions, attention, and behavior. Using tools like the Zones of Regulation and other evidence-based approaches, we support children in building self-awareness and coping skills.

OT Assessments

Our thorough OT assessments provide families with answers to their child's difficulties with learning, motor delays, handwriting struggles, behavior problems at home and school, problems with focus and attention, and many more. We use standardized and non-standardized assessments to develop a comprehensive picture of each child.
